I was wondering if there were any docs out there who after doing their residency realized that they really hated what they were doing, but decided to continue in their chosen field anyway. However after becoming accustomed to the field grew to like it. I'm a bit of a pessimist and I often fear not really liking the field that I'm going into. I wonder if you can learn to like a field that you may not initially like.
Maybe it's just post-match anxiety or maybe I'm just dreading the inevitable start of my intership year.
