does anyone know if a decent notebook computer can be rented for $250/year?

looking for one, but the cheapest one i found was through dell for over $30/month.

Ask if your school has a program setup. They may be able to purchase one and lease it to you. Then at the end of the lease you could buy it for a buck or something. Still the HPSP will only cover it if it is a required item.
