Thanks Toluene. I've decided to go with the Springs 🙂 I sent my $300 deposit last monday and am now just waiting for them to call me.. Which floorplan did you go with?

EmiliaBella I dont know where I stood in the first ranking but a few days ( I believe it was Thursday) before the call I received an email with an application package stating that I had moved into the top 10. Then the next Tuesday I got the call from Jackie. Hope that helps 🙂.

Hey guys! I am working on my financial aid...just got my award letter...I see that for the first year we can take out up to $44,470 for FL residents and I am trying to locate a calendar to figure out what months we are actually in school. Does anyone know? We don't attend at all during summer right? And if we want to take out a personal loan we cannot exceed that amount right? Thanks for any input!

Brandie the summer breaks begins in May 15. I am not quite sure when we start the second year. The calendar says something about remedial exams and remediation courses (lasts four weeks) and that is in June.

When did you receive the financial aid application? I havent received anything. I am not sure on the loans, but from what I understand the federal loans are not supposed to exceed the cost set by the university. Maybe someone else has knows more about that.

Okay great... Yes that definitely helps. I talked to Jackie probably a week before you got that email and she said I was in the top 50. It looks like the list is moving along pretty quickly so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I think Jackie Grosser told me that I was ranked 30 on the alternate list, but I got pulled off pretty fast. You should be called soon! Good luck once again!

I too got my acceptance call yesterday!!! I am trying to find places to live, but everything is so expensive.
Is everyone planning on having a roommie or living by themselves?
I just dont know where to start.

I would like to live with roommates so if you girls are interested, let me know. I'm planning on going down to Bradenton in July for a week to look around.
