I hope it does too. I feel like I would have been put on hold by now if they were going to do it. So I'm almost positive I will receive an invite letter or a rejection letter, nothing in between. We'll have to figure things out as they come. We're more inclined for him to start first wherever he gets in because he's 10 years older than me. It also depends on which schools we're talking about but that's most likely what would happen. And DCDOC's baby is adorable! That is my baby who is actually 2.5 now and we also have a little girl who is 15 months old. 😀

Yeah he actually said the interview was pretty laid back so that's good. I haven't gotten to talk to him too much yet because his plane gets in in about 45 minutes. My husband is probably pretty easy to spot at interviews for anyone else who might interview with him. Just look for what is likely to be the only 39 year old interviewing. 😛

Wow! I would never have guessed 39! Maybe I have bad eyes, but I didnt think any of us was much older than the rest.

Sure, I was the girl who sat at the front where all the posters were, so I had my back turned to them the whole time while everyone looked in my direction. Not quite the best seat if I may say.

I'm not sure if you have, but did you let them know that you are applying together? I believe some schools put that into consideration.

No we didn't but I think Bradenton figured it out because they rejected us the same day even though he submitted well before I did. 🙄

I'm trying not to. My husband actually got his invite at the end of September and I'm still waiting. I did get an e-mail last Friday saying that I'm on hold, which means a decision has not been made on my app. I should be hearing from them soon. I was confused by the being on hold but not being on hold thing. I'm trying to wait at least another week before I call again.

He said they meet on Wednesdays and generally people find out within two weeks but not always. We'll see but hopefully it will be a good Christmas. 😀

If he gets an acceptance there i say you should write a letter of interest stating that he is your husband and youd like to be accepted at the same place (mention that you have kids!) supposedly a lot of schools will try to make arrangements for circumstances like this.

Got letter in the mail yesterday and accepted!! It was my first interview and first acceptance so it feels pretty great 😀 They were fast, so I expect that you would hear soon. My interview was on Monday the 3rd and the letter was dated Dec 5. They said it would be 2 to 3 weeks, but I think maybe the admissions committee met earlier or something. I was shocked when I saw the envelope but it was thick, so I thought multiple pages to say rejected?? I dont think so. It was a good night.

Nope nothing yet. I got a strong feeling after my interview that I will be waitlisted. It was really random and all of a sudden too. But then the past two nights I've dreamt that I was accepted. My husband is now waiting to hear from AZCOM and Erie.

For those who have interviewed, what did you learn about LECOM from your interview that impressed you? I got an invite, but if I get accepted to NSU I'm not sure if it's worth the money to go to my LECOM interview. I know it's cold up there, but what else was good or bad. It seems complicated to have so many different learning tracks. How's the area, faculty, campus, student life, curriculum?...

This is kind of random, but I thought I'd post it anyway. This week at the end of lunch I was in the lecture hall and I saw the tour group go through. And the guy that was giving the tour was saying that we have wireless in the room but its not that reliable so most people plug in their computers. He also said that if you look at the students in the back of the room, they will have the lectures up on their computers following along since they're all the way in the back.

I just wanted to say that everyone uses the wireless everyday, and I've never since July 28th seen anyone plug in their computers. Also, everyone has the lecture up on their computer b/c that's how most people take notes.

Like I said....super random and not really important but just wanted to throw it out there! 😛

Anyways, I'm writing because I too am anxiously waiting to hear back from LECOM-Erie after interviewing on 12/6. I was really impressed with the curriculum and facilities, and definitely felt right at home at LECOM. I live in state, and can honestly say that LECOM-Erie is my #1 choice. Ive been waitlisted at NSU and TOUROCOM-NY, so it would be especially nice to recieve an acceptance. Anyone know when I should hear back from them? It seems like some heard in a few days and others a few weeks. I'm probably being too anxious, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I think the admissions meet on Wednesday, if I remember correctly. I interviewed on a Monday 12/3 and admissions met 12/5. So, if they met last Wed you could have a letter in the mail when you get home today... Best of luck!!

I came home this afternoon on my lunch break to check the mail... I got in!!! 🙂 I'm so excited right now I can hardly type! Best wishes to everyone else with all your applications and interviews, and remember to stay positive. This is my second year applying, where last year I only received rejection letters. Don't lose hope, just keep trying and you'll do great!

Well, I'm guessing I got a date from a previous cancellation or something. However, something funky went on in the mail because my letter was dated Dec 7th and I just got it today! Our mail does not normally take 10 days! Anyways, if you want my date I'd be happy to trade. I can't make the 31st so I'm going to call tomorrow to change my date.

I interviewed December 6th, and I just got my letter in the mail today. The schools seems amazing, and I am glad that I will be joining some of you next year!

MDROCKSTAR ~ I'm from Oklahoma so I understand your concern on the cold weather! I've been checking Erie's weather lots since I got my acceptance and it's snowed almost everyday since november 1!!

Hello people used to the warm- It's cold here!! It's not just that it's cold, it's windy. That is what is terrible. I like cold weather so I'm fine, but if you're not used to it, make sure you add some good hats, gloves and jackets to your Christmas lists this year!!

(PS- I over heard on girl here who is from Texas talking about how excited she was to be getting back into the Houston area over break because it will be warm and humid.) Happy Holidays!
