Length of work experience?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Some people have no work experience but have volunteer experiences. I don't see any red flags in what you've described as your engagement.

Thank you! I was just concerned with the fact that I plan on staying at this job closer to 4-6 months and didn't know if that would reflect poorly.

If you end a job to be able to take advantage of another opportunity, or because you move geographically, those are very understandable. If there seems to be no reason, you might be asked why you left. Not really a big deal and I would not expect it to raise a question more than 5-10% of the time. (in other words, most reviewers wouldn't notice and if they noticed, they wouldn't care.)

I was wondering how long, ideally, a work experience should be (or the minimum). I worked for one year through sophomore year in disability services and now am a junior holding a clinical job that I intend on being more short-term. Is that problematic/a red flag?

(I would say I have a reasonable amount of commitment throughout my application. I have volunteered at the same free clinic since high school, will have done two years of SGA and beginning my third by the time I apply, etc).
It's OK.
