a D- in neurobiology in the last semester of Junior year.

Single handedly ruined my chances at MD schools.

C in communications and bio 2.

Ugh, how I wish I could go back in time and commit to bio 2. At the time I just didn't care about learning about phylogenies and if I was more related to a mushroom or a plant.

B in Ancient Philosophy. Philosophy be hard. I think therefore I suck.

D in calc II first semester freshman year

at least it happened early

Did anyone take physics with calculus instead of trig? My school calls it Physics for Scientists and Engineers. That class is STILL haunting me.

C in my very first Algebra class. I'd rather not talk about it :/

B+ in english 101 because my teacher decided she didn't agree with my opinion in my final paper even though evidenced backed it up. I didn't really care about a B+ then until I realized what it translated to on the new scale haha, oh well. Rest of the classes were fine ^_^

D in linear algebra (calc 3), freshman year. Tried to repeat it thinking it would ruin my chances of getting in. Dropped it half way through the second time. Still got in. I hate matrices!

B+ in gen chem 1 but that's the grade I earned so I worry about future chem classes, but if I can kick ass in g hem 2 and score higher than a b+ then my chem teacher will change and match that grade to my g chem 1. So wish me luck. I also got a B- in a below 100 level algebra class but that was my worst semester- missed half of it because I was in a nursing home watching my grandmother die.
That was my worst semester at 3.25, my best semester was 3.85. But I am early In the game so I will re-visit this thread when I actually get into upper level classes!

Your professor will change your grade from Gen Chem 1 to match what you get in Gen Chem 2??? That's awesome, I wish I had professors that could/would do that!

C- in Gen Chem I, C+ in Calc I first semester of college. Turns out you have to read the book and do practice problems to succeed in college. Took a whole semester to figure that out. Retook Chem summer before senior year and got an A+, which made my C- more embarrassing because the material is not difficult.

Yeah he is an awesome teacher! Really cares about teaching and wants u to do good.

C Biochem last semester of college...had to take it for pre med recs, but my god is it difficult to concentrate second semester senior year.

D in Calc 1 freshman year. 👎
I didn't figure out how to effectively study for it until about a month before the final?

B- in organic chemistry. I like organic chemistry but I suck at it.

A- Microbiology. The lab portion was really unfairly graded by the TA's and the final practical was unnecessarily ridiculous.

I got a C in Orgo I, because I took it during the summer while I was working full time and thought it'd be no big (it was).

Also got a B- in Ecology, which I thought was impressive considering I messed up my schedule and forgot to go to the midterm.

Yup. Pain in the butt, isn't it?

B in Calc II and B in Orgo I

D in Orgo 2 (damn synthesis) and a D in applied calculus. I hate math. Lol.

That calculus class was ridic. The prof sucked so bad (she got fired after that semester) and it was my last semester of senior year. Plus, I was taking 19 credits that semester.

But whatever... Neither of those courses were prereqs. And I made ridiculously high grades in grad school.

If I could go back to ugrad with my new study skills, I'd have a 4.0! I really believe that. Lol.

Do you happen to go to a school in Georgia?

D in Environmental Psychology... stop laughing at me 🙁

I got a D in gym during 5th grade... guess that's what happens when break a floor hockey stick and throw it in the direction of your gym teacher over a bad call (I was a wee bit competitive back then...)

In all seriousness, I think I got a B- in OChem II, tough class!

Survivor DO

Yep the calc based class was required for my major. Luckily I'm a physics oriented guy and squeezed out As both semesters.

one D+ in an introduction to the old testament class
a few C+ here and there in some core humanities

lowest science grade so far is a B- in APII

An F in Astronomy. It was freshman year and I just stopped going and didn't try to withdraw til after it was too late.

Had to retake the dumb class but I got an A.

I got a few Cs freshman year as well. Luckily I was pretty much a 4.0 student after sophmore year.

I got a C+ in statistics sophomore year. Tests consisted of five or so questions worth 20-30 points apiece, and those points were solely based on your answer. If you got the answer even slightly off, you got no points on the question. The majority of the class taught you how to use some program called Minitab, which nobody uses outside of that course anyway. I retook stats under a different instructor and got an A.

The lowest grade I got in DPT school was a B+ in biomechanics due to sheer lack of interest in the material.

I got a C in Bio I lab and a B- in Chem I lab. I withdrew from a research methods course.

B- in rhetorical writing needless to say I despise english classes lol

D in Orgo 2 (damn synthesis) and a D in applied calculus. I hate math. Lol.

That professor just received a wonderful dose of bad karma. I approve of this. 👍

You just don't understand how awful this woman was. She was 15-20 minutes late for class every day. She took another 10-15 minutes to get out her TRANSPARENCIES where she proceeded to write problems and solve. Never taught anything. But I couldn't drop or i wouldn't graduate. So I just said eff it and took the scantron calculus exams. A D let me graduate. Lol.

😱😱😱 Ok. Remind me to order free drinks to celebrate your professor's firing the next time we hang out. That professor is pure sadistic...

Tip of the iceberg.

B+ in a graduate MPH Qualitative & Mixed Methods class. Focus groups are dumb.

Almost died when I thought an A- was coming for me in Microbiology...

Worst grade: B in bioethics sophmore year. I hate serious essay writing. And in that class, we are only graded on our essays. And we only had 4 throughout the semester...

*sigh*
