Did anyone else receive this letter from Dartmouth recently? I guess it's well-meaning, but it just reminded me of one MORE school I've been waiting forever on. End of April? Give me a break...

well no, that's not necessarily true in your case. I think accepted applicants are notified on a rolling basis (so you could be hearing as early as tomorrow!!) but I've been waiting for around 4 months, hence they feel the need to send out this weird semi-apologetic pre-waitlist (?) letter.

Hey I'm with you. 4+ months. At least we are still in consideration for an acceptance and not a waitlist or rejection...at least not yet.
