Letter from the governor....

1) I have received two commendation letters from the Governor of CT for having perfect GPA's in a calender year.

2) I am a member of Tau Beta Pi Honor Society which is only for high gpa maintaining students of engineering who are in School of Engineering.

3) I was admitted to Honors Program in my junior year when they take only a few new students in the program.

Can i add these in the Awards, Honors and Scholarship section?

Also, How can i mention about the Dean's List Standing if i have that in every semester? How can i show the dates received for all the 6 ones so far?

I know i have only 5 to put in and have only two spots left. So any comments on which ones will be good.

Schools know what your gpa is. They don't need someone to tell them it was good or bad. Toss the first. Toss the second for the same reason.
What did you have to do to get into the Honors program, if you think it was a accomplishment worth telling the schools then put it in for sure.
Same for Dean's List Standing.
It is ok to leave an open spot on the list.
Just remember quality not quantity. This is all just IMO. I am just trying to show a different perspective.

Definitely put that you were in the honor society. As far as honors program, when you're entering in your courses, isn't there a category to select it as honors?

Yeap, so Honors program one is out.
Honor society is in there.

If these are the only concerns you have for your application I think you're going to be just fine.

I second this. Even if you were in some honors program for having a good GPA, and the d-schools can see your GPA, you were after all still in an honors program.

As far as the 6 times you made deans list, see if you can lump them all together but note the amount of times it was received.

Filling out the AADSAS app is no time to be modest. If you did or received something, and there's room, then put it in there.

I was talking about the governer's letter. I could definitely add Tau Beta Pi and the Honors program... those are at every school and most people know how difficult it is to attain them.

thanks guys...but i dont have enough space in it....
so i will send a copy of the letters from the governor to my pre-dent adviser and would ask him to mention it in the composite letter along with the honors program.
So, apart from the other 3 important awards,
i have Tau Beta Pi and the Dean's List one.
