Hi everyone! So it's been about a month since I interviewed with my top choice medical school and I want to send a letter telling them that their program ranked #1 on my list. The thing is I don't feel comfortable committing 100% just yet because I need to know how much financial aid I get to see if I can actually afford to attend. Should I include the "you're my top choice" in my letter or not?

I think there is a difference in saying you're my top choice vs I will definitely come here if accepted so I would say its fine to mention it.

This is why Admissions Deans treat these as lies.

Imagine a guy at a bar saying to some gal, You're my first choice to take to the prom, but I have to see how much it will cost me.
