Letter of Rec and Submission Timing

Hi all, wanted to ask a quick question.

If I have designated, say 5 letters on AMCAS to a school which only requires 4, and only 4 of them are currently in, is it safe for me to submit the secondary application to that school? Should I wait instead for the 5th letter of recommendation to come in or should I go ahead and submit the application?

If you are ok with them only seeing those four then go for it. They may not read all 5 if you send it in later but a fifth letter is doubtful to sway a decision.
