Hey ya'll, I have observed several different types of Dentists and the one I have enjoyed the most and the dentist who knows me the best is an oral surgeon. Does it look bad to have a specialist write your rec letter instead of a general dentist? I know it would be if she was all I had observed, but I have shawdowed many other areas including general dentistry. Thanks for the input!!!

I don't think there would be any problem with having a specialist write your letter. As long as they know you and you know they'll give a good recommendation, it should be fine

Definitely go with the one that knows you best, but also remember that you can have more than one dentist write you a letter of recommendation.
