One of my closest professors hardly speaks english; would it be okay if he write me a letter of recommendation in Russian?

well, maybe he could write the letter, and then have it translated to English before he sends it. Good luck. One of my closest professors hardly speaks english; would it be okay if he write me a letter of recommendation in Russian?

ask him to write it in russian, and offer to pay to have it professionally translated.
or don't get one from him at all.
Well... that's how international students do it, since they're getting LORs from their profs in their native country, who presumably don't speak English. Their application has to be translated by some reputable service (including their transcripts, etc.). So, that's the way to go, I presume.
