Hi,

So, this must've been asked before but I don't have access to a pc today and it's hard to search on an iPod.

A volunteer coordinator is writing me a LOR, but I can't send her a letter request form since 2011 application isn't up.

What do I send her as instructions? Is there a PDF or something that doesn't have letter ID w/ rest of info still available?

Thank you in advance

There aren't really instructions. You might want to look into whether your school's premed office has a letter service, or if they don't, use Interfolio.

I also suggest using Interfolio. You can print/email a letter request from that site, and AMCAS letter ID and your AAMC no. can be added to any of your letters when you have them forwarded.

Best Wishes,

Peaches :luck:

I sent instructions found on U Wisconsin's website. And told the writer that I'll send them more instruction on where to send it when the application opens up.

Hey guys I didn't want to make another thread for this but I have a quick question. Right now I'm really worried that I won't be able to pull out a non-science LOR. Originally, I had a professor that was supposed to write me one but unfortunately he just flaked out on me and now I'm scrambling to find another professor. If I don't have a non-science LOR am I screwed and thus unable to apply to med schools? Sigh. I'm really really worried...🙁

you don't need one if your U has a pre-med committee. If not, yes, you're kind of screwed. But not really. You can go to any prof you took a non-science class w/ and got an A and ask for a letter. If you don't know them well, their letter would be basic.. not helpful.. but better than not having any.
