What are some qualities that are vital in request letters, and what are some things I should try to avoid?
Currently, I have a letter prepped for my microbio prof. I have spoken about my gpa, dat, what I am doing, where I am going. These are attributes my advisor recommended. I even shared a story about my poor previous micro class at a community college (so much so that its kinda funny) and why I very much apricated him as a professor. I have spoken with the professor many times before and after class when I was took his class, so I believe he has a pretty good idea about who I am and what I want in my life.
I didn't make it this cycle, so I am planning on taking some post-bacc classes next year and applying again next year.
