letter of recommendation

For my non-science letter of recommendation I am considering using one my literature professor wrote for me not too long ago. The letter was good, but the only thing is that I took the class online, and he mentioned as much in the letter. Would you use this letter?

Which schools needs a non science? And i wouldn't use it as well.
