Can someone offer some guidance about seeking letter of rec/ eval from a do? Should i go out and do some observation hour, and if yes, what is the best approach.

Yes, you should shadow a DO. There is a link in the pre-DO section to one of the national osteopathic organizations where DO's have signed up to be mentors. You can send messages to them and some of them will respond to set up shadowing. If that doesn't work out just google DO's in your area and call/send letters to their offices. Good luck!
