Hi everyone!

I know some colleges like Albert Einstein require specific LOR's such as 1 from a major professor who taught you, and 1 from a non-major science professor who taught you.

However, if I have to send a pre-med committee letter, and that does not include those specific requirements (I would have maybe 1 science professor, 1 non-science, 1 PI, 1 work supervisor, + premed advisor), would my application still be accepted/considered? AECOM and other schools say that they want a committee letter but don't really say what the committee letter should have. The above mentioned requirements for LOR are more for schools without committee letters I think?

I think it's impossible now to get a non-major science because all my classes in senior year will fulfill a major req, and I haven't really gotten close to the non-major science profs 🙁.

Majority of schools (I can't think of any exceptions off the top of my head) require one OR the other: premed committee letter OR a set of letters that include 1 of this, 1 of that, etc.

If you fulfilled the requirements for your premed-committee letter I would say that you are off the hook in terms of letters for majority, if not all, medical schools in the country. Check each one specifically but most websites say essentially the first sentence of this post.

I believe the reasoning for this is that every school's committee has its own requirements/policies?
