I was wondering what is generally recommended for LoRs for reapplicants as I know 2 science and 1 non science professor is generally what is needed for Texas schools, However, tmdsas explicitly states that LoRs should be updated for reapplicants so should new letters replace the old professors ones? Or what is the generally recommendation for this?

Not sure is TMDAS is any different, but updated LORs can mean new letters or you ask your writers to revise your LOR with new information. Chances are, these writers don't have anything new to say about you, so it's probably fine if you don't get new letters.

So since there are only 4 maximum slots for tmdsas letters it is okay to submit the same letters for a repeat cycle? What about if you have updated letters from different sources?

I was a reapplicant for TMDSAS this cycle, and I just had my letter writers (all 3 science profs) update their letters with what I had done to strengthen my application from the year prior!
