Letters of Recommendation

Do most people just submit the same LOR's as their dental school app or do they normally get separate ones? I am in the process of asking for LOR's for the dental school app so I wonder if I should ask for two (one for dental schools and then one for military), or maybe have them write something applying to the military as well in the same letter so they do not have to bother writing two? Or would that then look bad to the dental schools? I tried getting in touch with a recruiter, but I was told to get back to them after taking the DAT.

I used the same letters. The pre-professional office at my school put them in AADSAS and then gave them to my recruiter when I gave them permission. Idk how it works at your school but that's how it was for me. No need to have your letter writers include anything military specific - just the usual judgement of your capability & character. Also, recruiters have little interest in you until you've taken the DAT so they can tell whether your score and GPA are in the range they're looking for which I think is pretty attainable.
