License requirements -- transferring from CA to NY?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking into MFT program in Los Angeles. I do want to leave the door open to one day move (and practice) in New York State.

Are some programs better for this then others? Do they have to programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE)?
