Lido/Septo max dose question!?

Hey guys! I cant seem to find the real number for max dose for adult for lido/septo. Is it 500mg or 300mg for lido?

if its 500mg, then that comes out to 14 carps lido, seems kinda high?
if its 300mg, then its around 8 carps.

I'm seeing literature for both numbers so I dont know which one it is.

I know peds is 4.4mg/kg.
Is it 4.4mg/kg for adults without epi and 7mg/kg for adults with epi?

500mg lidocaine and septocaine = 13 carpules
If epinephrine at 1:100k max dose of epi is 200 micrograms = 11 carpules.

36mg of anesthetic solution/1.8mL Carpule
18 micrograms of epi/1.8mL Carpule

Sorry 13.8 carpules. Wasn't sure if you wanted to round up or down. I'd round down to avoid crossing the max dose.

You can choose to go with either the current FDA recommendations or any textbook recommendations (if they're lower). It's 7mg/kg (max 500mg) for Lido with epi and 4.5mg/kg (max 300) if without epi. I believe Septo is also 7mg/kg (max 500mg). For peds we go with 4.4mg/kg Lido and 7mg/kg Septo.
