Personally I don’t know as I’m just a student and don’t work with admissions, but I wouldn’t worry about it affecting your chance of getting in if you were interviewed. They could have invited a smaller group for this one and may have another one late spring but this is an assumption so don’t quote me. If you are concerned, I would recommend contacting admissions and seeing if you are able to sign up to go.

I called admissions recently to make sure I was still being considered for fall (I was admitted to the spring but had to decline my spot) and they said I was still being considered for fall but they couldn’t give me a timeline on when I would here so I’m starting to think this is a sign I will not be accepted

i think that the people in this thread that commented about visiting the school in March are admitted students so far but I could be mistaken. They might be trying to prioritize the visits for admitted students currently, it’s possible we’ll hear more later?

I got an email in November (after I interviewed) about signing up for Spring tours with the booking link!

No don’t interpret it as a possible acceptance. I also got the email but all it is, is a tour for those who interviewed or possible applied. They’ve done this several times through the app cycle. I wish it was an acceptance too but we can’t put false narratives into our heads during this stressful time!

My theory still stands that they sent out all of their acceptances. I would assume we will hear about several more going out in the next few weeks as people with offers at other schools accept/decline seats. I imagine we will hear on 4/17 what our final status is and then the waitlist will start to move?

i’m not sure about that just because they said they will continue to send out acceptances in a recent email and historically they’ve sent them out in waves but everything is wonky this year!

Well of course, they send them out in waves as they have open spots.

I truly don’t believe LMU has sent out all their acceptances when only the first round of acceptance that went out included both fall and spring. If that had happened there would be no point in continuing interviews past that certain date. If LMU had filled all their seats it wouldn’t make sense to keep people in limbo, so we’d start seeing more waitlist and rejection emails.

If people got an acceptance offer after early interviews in an effort to fill the spring class, people could very well be waiting to decline/ accept their seat until the deadline in April. No one knows how many offers were sent out then. I am not saying the class is full by any means, I just think that they have sent offers for the seats available. Of course, it is likely that more spots will come available and offers will go out ( rolling admissions). I never said the class was filled.

I was accepted to my IS which is the University of Minnesota. I have not been able to visit yet... I am currently finishing my undergrad in Wisconsin and it is too far for me to drive to visit unless I get accepted, then I may try to come down.
