I interviewed in January, and was accepted. I moved into the Tazwell area, and can not wait for August 1! I think I found a pretty good job, but its lab work at night. Why can't I start now
? I saw the Pink ceremony picture in the newspaper, for cancer research. That's real cool. I know being part of DCOM is going to be the best thing in my life. Its beautiful here and I love the area. What can I do until then? One thing though, I found it very interesting that this is the first year a criminal back ground check is performed, which I have no problem with....yet after getting a letter of acceptance and depositing 2K for the seat, what will happen to students that get kicked out due to their consumer or criminal or credit or traffic background? This process needs to be initiated when candidates apply through the service in D.C. because thousands are spent when including original application sent to the schools from that service, then the additional fees for secondary applications and then travel expenditures for interviews. Just think, after all that, too be rejected after a letter of acceptance. I feel sorry for anyone who loses out.
I can't wait for classes. I'm going stir crazy it seems. See you all real soon. Class of 2012~Is On the Way
