Loans for studying in the US?

Hi there,
I tried posting this question in the pre-dental forum but got no reply so I'm guessing that no one saw it, or I'm in the boat alone by myself, or that I just posted in a wrong place

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone knows something about Canadians getting loans for studying in US. What is a good program to look into? Government or private? US or Canadian company? I'll be going to a dental school next fall. Are there dibs for females studying in dentistry?

I don't know a lot about dental, but I know there are bunch of loan sources for medical students, and I would imagine that they also apply for dental students.

Sadly, there are no scholarships available...

Anyway, check out: <a href="http://www.iefc.com" target="_blank">http://www.iefc.com</a> - they have a program called CanHELP which is a loan source that provides all the $$ you need.

And I'm a guy, so I know nothing about female applicants. Some might say I know nothing about females at all, but I wouldn't go that far.
