I have been reading through the ADEA dental school application info packet and I'm a little confused regarding letters of evaluation. According to the packet, applicants may submit a maximum of four individual letters of evaluation or one committee letter plus one addition individual letter. I planned to submit a committee letter plus 3 additional letters (a dentist I shadowed, a professor, and as a non-traditional student, one from my employer). Since I can only submit the committee letter plus one additional, do I send the other two letters directly to the schools to which I am applying? I hope someone can straighten me out regarding this issue! Thanks!

Some schools will not consider more than aadsas allows and others will accept letters mailed directly to the office of admissions. You are going to need to call the individual schools and check their policies.

This is a common problem. AADSAS only lets in 4 letters and you know which ones you would send in. But, between the 5-15 schools you apply to and their letter of rec requirements, you will need 6 letters. The solution is Interfolio.com, a confidential letter of rec service. Send your letters to Interfolio. Then you can designate your letters to be sent to AADSAS or to the schools directly.
