Loma Linda/Davis/Irvine???

I would like to know how hard is it to get into Loma Linda, UC Irvine and UC Davis if you did not go to their medical school. Do these three programs only take their own medical students or is it worth doing a 4th year externship their????

Irvine definitely takes others. I don't know about the other 2. However, in my opinion the best programs in Cali are Stanford, UCSF, UCLA. I would be aiming for those rather than the ones mentioned.
