Hey everyone! I thought I would make a thread for all of those applying to Loma Linda for this cycle! Feel free to post your stats and anything else related to Loma Linda!

I was also wondering how long it takes the Admissions Office to get back to you after you submit the supplemental application?

Lastly, for anyone that is currently attending or has graduated from the DPT program, what are your thoughts about the program? Loma Linda is in my top three of PT schools, but I want to know other people's opinions 🙂

Before I apply LLU through PTCAS, I sent an e-mail about application, but they told me that priority deadline for June 2017 has already passed. I don't understand about the information! I knew that LLU deadline is 11/1/2016 and confused about the priority deadline. What's going on?

i just received my secondary application. Each of the essays have a 4000 character count. Should I go for quality> quantity; making the essays as long as they need to be to get the point across or use up my characters?

From what I heard, LLU has 2 periods where they accept applicants. I believe the first period is July 1-September 1 which is when they accept most of their applicants and the next is November to January. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

They send out their first batch of acceptance in third week of November. So, we have two more weeks until they send out anything. I know the waiting game is painful, but hang in there! Btw when did you interview and is loma linda ur first choice?

I interviewed on Oct 23rd and yes, loma linda is my first choice =). How about you?

Does anybody received acceptance letter for the second round? I received email yesterday that decisions will be send out soon. And i called them and they told me only acceptance letter will be email to student the rest of student will get denial letters in mail

I have not gotten anything yet. Did they say when the emails would be sent out?

They said by next week, if you receive the email that means u got accepted.
If not they will send deny letter in mail. So that's why i was wondering if anybody received anything yet for the second round of acceptance

That's why i want to know if anybody received acceptance letters in the past 2 days?

That sounds odd.. why would they send acceptances through email but denials through snail mail.. I would think it's the other way around but I guess not..

So has anyone gotten acceptance emails yet? I'm still in the dark over here and I live pretty close to the school. So i would think if i were to get a rejection letter i would have gotten it sooner than most. But still nothing

I am in same shoes also, i still did not hear anything mail or email, nothing. I live about 1 hour from campus. Hopefully by monday we should hear something

I wonder if maybe for those of us that are still completely in the dark, if maybe the committee is still on the fence about some of us? And just waiting for acceptance confirmations from others? That's all I can think of for why it would take this long. Maybe someone else has an idea of the process or can speculate as well?

Most likely they are waiting for acceptance and we will be in alternate list
