Hi all,

I will be a reapplicant for this upcoming cycle and I will be 4 years out of college for the 2017 cycle. Out of curiosity, what types of letters should I be getting? I will be applying with a MPH degree. Right now, I will have a letter from the assistant dean of student affairs, a professor from a statistical software class that I took and Ta'ed for and I need one more. I have the option of my former employer to write me one, but any other significant LOR gaps I should be addressing?

Thanks!

If there's any way to get one from an MD or DO, you should get it. As I understand it, it's very important to have a physician letter, as they will know better than a professor if the applicant is ready for medical school and beyond.
