LOR from non-medical source

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
If he can speak to your character and why you would be a good doctor, then hell ya. I think one of the people here in an adcom said the best letter they ever got was like from a home depot manager. In a lot of ways, work LOR's can be better than academic LOR's, since you most likely know your manager better than your professors.

100% yes go for it. I had my coach write me a LOR and I was told in a few interviews that it was one of the strongest letters supporting my character and personality. If it doesn't cause you to surpass the school's letter limit I say add it on! Good luck!
