LOR vs EC start date discrepancy

In the ECs, I put down that I volunteered at an organization since March because I did an orientation in the end of March but my first day working was the first week of April. I spoke to my advisor, and she said just put March on the application.

I just read the LOR from the supervisor there and it said I first came to the organization in April. Is this a big deal? Should I go back to my LOR writer and ask to put March instead of April, or should I just send this sucker in?

Edit-- It took a long time to get the LOR writer to do anything so asking him to change 1 word might be time consuming.

No one is going to notice or care.

The bigger issue is that you read a LOR. They are supposed to be confidential and you sign forms saying as much. Bad start to honor code for a med student.

I waived my rights to read it, but my LOR writer wanted to share it w/ me anyway. I don't see how this is an honor code issue.

You're right, it doesn't matter. As long as you waived your rights to read it, it doesn't matter if they showed it to you.
