So I know this has been asked in other forums, but haven't found in this forum. But does it mater if the professor i get the letter of recommendation for science has a masters or ph. d?
I know this sounds weird but one professor I am considering on asking is from a community college and he is labeled as an assistant professor but he does have a masters.
However when I look up some faculty,, it doesn't look like all labeled professor have ph.d. necessarily either and only have masters.
