So their website says: "Letter of evaluation from the premedical committee, premedical advisor, or Dean of the college granting the undergraduate degree. Individual faculty letters do not fulfill this requirement. "

well what if we don't have a pre-med committee, pre-med advisor and have never even met the dean? Don't they want any professor evaluations?? What about physician evaluation? So I can't apply here because of their LOR requirements?

I would ask them.

I wasn't able to use my committee, but my pre-med advisor's office holds my individual letters and sends the copies in a packet directly to the school. All of my letters are from individual faculty members (plus the DO letter). PCOM has stated I am complete. If you are no longer in undergrad, I think the only option you have is to get a letter from the dean of the degree granting institution. Or see if the school's pre-med advisor will do something for you. They seem to make it kinda tricky to apply at PCOM for some reason.:luck:

Ask them. I've heard of applicants sending a letter from their current academic advisor instead.

i called pcom and they OK'd individual professor letters in my case.

I'm actually in the post-bac program at PCOM-ga campus, and they are pretty serious about the letter from your undergrad school. I had to get a letter from an academic advisor of my undergrad school (graduated in 1998) and I've never even met this advisor. The pre-med advisor that I had doesn't even work there anymore. I did send in two recent science faculty letters and a DO letter also. The letter from my undergrad school basically said that I wasn't kicked out of school and didn't blow up the school or anything, since they have no idea who I am. I would call PCOM and let them know your concerns. I'm sure you can find a way to apply. Good luck.:luck:

All I sent was a letter from my undergraduate advisor and another from a DO that I have done a ton of shadowing with and it worked for me.
