Ok, So I had a small heart attack today because I thought I lost a bag of Morphine 2mg syringes. Turns out one of the other girls took it and without paying attention put them in 8th floor drawer. Anyway if I were to ever loose a controlled substance (almost everyone I work with lost something one time or another) would they put it on some record or something? I am very careful and I double check everything. Could that potentially cause problems for me in the future?
I know this is a stupid question, but I just want opinions so please just go with it.

Most likely, you'd be forced to stay and retrace your steps until the bag turned up. If it didn't, whatever license you had to be handling the stuff would be at risk and you'd be put through the wringer.

narcotics have a lot of baggage associated with them in this country 🙁 Gotta be extra careful you don't misplace schedule 2 drugs because if you do someone will want an explanation. Sorry to hear about it, everything will probably work out, but be really careful with those in the future.

You'd probably get drug tested or something. I doubt the matter would be very serious unless you had some history with drugs or stealing.

You didn't magically have a brand new $100 bill appear in your wallet around the same time did you?

J/k man that must of been nervewrecking.

The first week i started working at a pharmacy a bottle of concerta went missing, and i got the suspicious glares from everyone. Ended up being a packing slip error, and some trust was gained by the time I quit.

lol, I doubt you'd get a conviction or anything like that if that's what you mean.

It was because I thought maybe I put them in with morphine 1mg syringes. We have so many narc for ER its hard to keep track unless you are very careful. So I thought I was going to kill someone and it was going to be the famous potassium 40 mixed with potassium 10 scenario, where the nurse gave her patient 4 potassium 40mg tablets 160 mg in total instead of just 40 mg total.

Besides I think 25 morphine syringes would go for at leasts $500?

That actually sounds like a fairly reasonable price. 20 a hit.
