Navy Loupes Reimbursement

During my commissioning today, my LT. told me that the Navy offers a $900 reimbursement for loupes, but I've never seen or heard of this before and especially so from previous forums. Can anyone confirm or point where I can find this reimbursement if it is indeed true? Thank you in advance.

The current amount for loupes reimbursement is $1,400, and that does not include a light. Look at MODS handbook Chapter 7 Arcticle 7 ccc
