Hello yall! I was wondering if anyone is familiar with either the Loyola MAMS or MSMP programs? I was recently accepted to the MAMS program (hopefully MSMP soon!) as well as the Georgetown SMP program. Trying to decide between the two. Any advice or input would be appreciated!

Could you be more specific about your concerns to compare the programs? Cost? Community? Connections/support to get into medical school?

Absolutely! So my main concern is obviously getting into medical school, Allopathic hopefully. I would like to go to the program that would offer me the best chance at getting into medical school. Cost is also important but if one or the other was overwhelmingly better, then cost becomes secondary. Connections/support are also important but I guess that goes with the first thing that I mentioned. Is there anything I can elaborate on more ?

On the admissions side of things, both are good options. For the most part, it's up to you to prove yourself as prepared for medical school.

Both programs at Loyola give you a Gauranteed interview if you have a 3.6+ in the program and a 507+ MCAT. No linkage at Georgetown.

for what it’s worth, regardless of prestige, feel like the guarantee is the move.

I agree with you, + from what I have heard from many people, the GTown Program seems like its not worth it, thank you for your response
