I have no idea whether this is impressive or not. Can radiologists look at an MRI of the brain and tell whether the patient is male or female based only on the topography of the soft tissue rather than skull size or shape? Just trying to figure out whether this paper is an example of "basic-bitch" capability for a human radiologist or a unique capability achievable only through machine learning.

I look at the top left corner of the screen and get the gender for a brain MRI correct with 99% accuracy. The other 1% is when it's a trauma case and the patient's details are not known.
