What is the breakdown for USMLE scores and residency programs? Obviously it depends on many factors but let us assume...

average personality
average letters
apply to 10 average programs
went to average school

Does someone with average scores (220) usually match?
What score more or less guarentees you a match?
What kind of score does the average incoming resident have in EM?
At what USMLE score do you pretty much have to start praying in order to get a residency (under 215?, 210?).

I think that the interview may hold a little more weight with many programs. I am a middling student and got an interview at one of my reach programs, and the director really liked me. He said that their decisions are not always about numbers, but whether they liked you at the interview, and how you interacted with the residents and other interviewees.
