I'm kind of worried about submiting my PharmCAS app right now because one of my schools might be dropping some of my old grades from a while back (thus allowing me a higher culm GPA). They make their decision on Sept 26, but I don't want to wait that long to submit my Pharmcas app....

If I submit now, and then that school changes my transcript, can I send in the new transcript and have PharmCAS update my GPA? Or is eveything really set in stone?

Typically I would recommend not waiting - however this may be a special case. From your post, it seems like you are going through some official challenge process - to have grades either removed / changed on your official transcript. If that is correct - it may lead to issues down the line when new transcripts arrive at pharmcas that vary from older transcripts... You may want to only submit the new transcript (with whatever changes are made).

You have (2) considerations:

1. Are you applying to any school with rolling admissions? If not, schools typically wait until all applications are in (which would make waiting on the transcript a non issue)

2. If schools are on rolling admissions - how big of a difference will a later submission be? Contact the school directly to find out.
