Malpractice Insurance

I was reading the post about OB-GYN and how their malpractice insurance is sky high. Do doctors pay for malpractice insurance if they are employed by a hospital or do they only pay malpractice insurance if they are in a private practice? If so, how much does someone pay in insurance a year?

For Ob/Gyn's Less than $1 million but more than $10,000 per year...
