Hi guys. Look, I'll attempt to explain my iffy post, but I'm honestly tired of fighting samac off my back. But please think about it from a wolf standpoint. Why would I say "us" if I was in wolf chat? Wolves are concerned about parity per se. Why would I need to clarify that. I meant for us village - for parity reasons. I'm also embarrassed to admit that English isn't my first language. So sorry if the wording felt off.

And yes @samac there was no talk of 3p but I'm not that big of a noob to not think that a lone wolf maybe some kind of a 3p. I now understand that village needs to get all the wolves so if we got the wolfpack and hadn't gotten Mel, then the game would still go on probably and it still wouldn't be a village win. Sorry for the confusion 🙁

i get what samac is saying- i remember being way more focused on parity as a wolf than i ever have as a tot/villager/dead chat resident. but i also agree that samac focusing on fluff while admitting she hasn't even evaluated her interaction with barks sounds like tunneling. im interested to see what samac has to say about that interaction once shes back from the walk with her pup!

Pretty sure I explained myself at the time, but in case this is referring to me:

Basically, I was floundering with my vote. The two wagons felt like villagers being railroaded into a misyeet. When AM asked me what I thought of Mel, it clicked for me that Mel had completely glided under my radar in a way that felt very different than he did in BoWWling. It wasn't a lot to go on, but it felt much better to me than either TME or Barks; so I went with it.

for me, i moved to mel late in the vote because 1) there was a current tie between TME and mel and i didn't truly feel like TME was wolfy and 2) i really agreed with true/dubz/samac that the two current wagons (TME and barks) felt like villagers.

That does not clear her in anyway for me, sorry. I could read that as a frustrated wolf. Her posts today to me make me feel bad, but doesn’t make me feel she’s village. I’ll have to go back and re-read some of day 2 in bowling but I remember her swinging through all the pushes.

We can address other people. I know I tend to dig my heels in if I feel good about a read and I feel good about this one. Unless fluff starts screaming village I doubt I’ll change my mind. Doesn’t mean we can’t discuss other people going forward, I’ve laid my thoughts out and it seems other people don’t agree so it is what it is.

I feel really bad when I get a strong read on someone and go hard and they're not having a good time. To be fair I've done it to villagers and wolves.

This is kind of the baked in sus that I think True gets. It did prove out that Mel wasn't village, but I guess wolfpack wouldn't know that so we could go back and forth for awhile. (BTW, I find myself making these type of objective statements too that get me in trouble)

I only skimmed and my quick summation was: Barks revealed so was not going to be yeeted. Wolves saw this and were orchestrating last minute wagon to save TME. Mel is always sus so easy to start a wagon on him. And he went from no votes to 27 votes so quick it made me feel sus of the movement.

I'm asking what your POE is for the four.

I didn't have time to look at all the votes on the wagon. Just knew barks reveal, then new wagon form at about the same time it looked like TME was going to go down.

I agree, we can’t clear the entire Mel wagon. That post was also before we knew Mel was a lone wolf so it’s kind of moot to be discussing now. it can be wolf or villagers who voted there.

So you thought TME was a wolf and that wolves moved to Mel to save TME.
I have to say I got so surprised at the fast movement towards Mel and because I had been village reading him I was expecting him to flip village. So I’m not going to bother with True’s quote of “when” that much.
