I can see how people are seeing it they way they are, but is not that a pretty standard question for a noob who hasnt encountered that mechanic before? I still get confused myself on how 3p affect the numbers sometimes.

Though actually, I'm going to argue that the people involved in moving the vote away from the TME/Barks tie to Mel should get some credit. No one is confirmed village, but the chance of TME+Barks both being wolves who were voting for each other just feels so outlandish to me.

I disagree. I don't think this is a credit situation. You can definitely village read people's overall efforts and progression to get to voting Mel but there's zero reason a wolf (or more) couldn't have been on that vote.

I will invite you to look at my voting track record last game. Maybe I should be more stern and tight-lipped about being anxious about misyeeting people, but I haven't been in the past.

Also, wait, I was reading the Mafia wiki and it looks like there are lone wolves and then lost wolves; Lost Wolves count toward the pack except they can't talk to them, and Lone Wolves are basically a 3P that wins when they're the last one standing. Mel was Lone, not Lost, right? Or do we not always use the same terms as that wiki?

Yes Lost wolves try to find the rest of the pack and when they do usually they become a part of it and go to wolf chat. A lone wolf is more 3P like in the sense that they have to survive until everyone else is gone.

Not always. Lone wolves can mean anything on SDN. I've even seen them have inclusive wins with the pack.

i’ll totally admit i struggled with who to put at the top of the list. but i had to pick someone and my interpretation of what happened last night is that TME and barks were both village and we managed to see through that and yeet mel at the end. that interpretation of events is also what led to me giving other people like samac and dubz some village credit- so that’s why i thought barks should go at the top. i also believe bark’s role reveal.

Also there was no NK. We dont know if any actions were actually blocked, night cancel, protection, etc. Maybe it had something to do with an early wolf pack kill, which makes less sense though, because TME wouldnt have been cleared and still had misyeet potential.

Let's say he has something like "when you die, you can take someone with you." This would also explain the slightly longer delay between his yeeting and the writeup.

If so, who would he pick?

Picking TME might make sense if Mel's victory condition is just the wolves winning. If that's the case, he would want to pick someone he's pretty confident isn't also a wolf; and at least to me, TME looked like a prime misyeet waiting to happen.

If he had picked someone like Samac, AM, or me, it would be more obvious that it was revenge/collateral, whereas this way it leads to more confusion (which I assume is pro-woofs).

No. There weren’t. I’m speaking about 3P assumptions.
I have no idea why a noob village would immediately assume something flipping wolf would be 3P and if it is ask questions about parity when she knows how 3P would work towards parity.

this is my first time ever making it to day 2 as village, you'll never hear me say im 100% confident in my reads. i color coordinated them to show who im wolf reading most right now, but there's nothing saying those blue people cant become purple, or the greens cant become blue, etc. my reads have already changed a bit as the game has gone on. *ill also have you note i put fluff in the same color as yall

something that stood out to me upon reread is how you and zenge had a bit of a disagreement early on in the thread, and then there was a shift where zenge started agreeing with you. i dont think you're incompatible as wolves. and i just wasn't a fan of bob's responses to AM last night.
