Look the thing is, I initially got slight village MK vibes, but it’s honestly too early for me to have a solid read with as little as she’s posted. I need more. But I’m standing by my initial snap read at the moment and it’s not where I’m interested in looking today, unless something drastic happens

I don't really know what you want. I'm just not great at reading Dubz. I don't expect much from Zenge early on D1 as I don't get a feel for him or find him notable until later, which is the same as now. I feel like with you I see relevant activity pretty early and you are more notable early on. This is not the case with everyone.

I noted it with Moon because I felt there is enough to notice and start formulating thoughts there. That's not the case with many people, both those I've played with a lot and those I've never played with before.

Bottom line is I expect certain things from you earlier than others as I feel like I've noticed things earlier with you in past games. Comparing how I'm able to read others earlier in the game is a moot point when there's just not enough from them for me to go off of yet.

Surprisingly calm for Stagg.

I like this post a lot as someone new to our site.
Seems like actively trying to get a handle on a a lot he’s familiar with

My point is mostly that seeing the trifecta of one slot that you didnt understand as top town + 2 considerations of yeet as top towns from a slot that you are townreading I'd expect your view of the game to be questioned or a bit of wavering?

But only asking about samac and then have to be prodded about it makes me feel that view of reads you have may not be genuine /?
Or at least have trouble seeing how it holds up?



But also I can agree with this on a soul level. genny usually is a slot that I have always have problems forming a read or seeing where they are at. This game Im quite surprised with how direct they've been with their thoughts, and Im taking it as a good thing

I also really like Santys point here and the TR I have on him makes me itchy because it feels so wrong but what if so right

Unbothered. I wouldn’t expect a new player on our site to volunteer that they’re sheeping without knowing the culture here and I’ve learned that a lot of people from other sites do start with the town bucket first method

This still just feels as though you’re saying you’re doing much in the way of solving slots.

Like if you’re saying you’re going to develop village reads, and then sheep them, then by the very nature of developing those village reads you’re ultimately going to have reads that are not village reads.

So to say, outside of your tunnel of me you’re going to just pick one of your village reads and sheep them, instead of having an idea of where you want to vote for reasons based on your own reading and interpretations of the game is concerning.

Though haven’t you watched dubz and I do similar things in the past?
I know she’s sheeped me before and I’ve sheeped her d1.

I mean, if you want more with regards to you, IIRC you pocketed me pretty hard in that 12/12, and you're not doing that here. But early on, I had a niggle you decided to pocket Santy instead, and would try to flip him tomorrow if we didn't get a scum today. (I think I agree with Gikkle that you're not w/w, though.) So, that's why I wanted to wait.

Even more than that, I was hoping if I ignored you, the wolves would do me a favor and resolve you N1. :wowee:

So above was moon's reaction to me town reading them for disagreeing about some reads. Then their supposed pathos behind their treatment of me.

I don't understand the first reaction if they are on the lookout for me pocketing them as they say later on. I think this is something scum moon would make up to sound plausible in the face of my scrutiny but their carefree reaction to my earlier town read kind of makes the read feel very scuffed.

I don't have much experience with moon but I am having trouble squaring this as internally consistent. If anyone would like to give it a shot lmk

Clem J - I only remember this person calling out DubZ (which took me a while to figure out was wildzoo) and reinforcing that read based on prior game history.
Santygrass- probably town based on vibes. I'll have a better handle on this person come day 2.
mkg323 - rvs posts felt very free-flowy. I could be biased since they called me towny or towny-looking or some other variation adjacent to that, but I'm not looking to yeet there today.
potentialsheltervet- I only remember this person have fewer than a dozen posts and I cannot for the life of me remember any of the content therein. I don't know if they ever posted after the RVS
moonstermash- I remember not liking them much in the rvs, liking them afterwards and having no recollection of why I had feelings either way. Currently thinking town because I haven't put additional thought into it.
samac- my top town, despite their protestations
holdthemayo - I can't remember but one post mayo made, but I liked it. I wouldn't hold onto that read if I don't see more, but I'm liking it for now.
Zenge142 - probably my biggest person to suspect, and it's not a lot behind it.
genny - null, but I feel like Genny is friendly and regardless of alignment is going to pocket me
WildZoo - I feel like I've seen "DubZ's" posts a lot, and I should have a firmer grasp on where they are, but I guess it feels kinda like treading water. This is the slot I would wager I need to spend the most time assessing.
Stagg737 - this is someone I find I will likely tunnel if I don't see something different from them. At first glance, their style like the type I will have trouble seeing as towny.
ShinichiMD - the difference between shinichi and someone like mayo is that shinichi just checked in and did/said nothing
Gikkle - maybe scum? There's a lot of world's I'm building around their flip, and that's probably unfair because there's only been 1 or 2 moments of "huh? This is scummy"
Achromatic - lean town due to general vibing, despite a hiccup here or there.

Can you talk to me about Gikkle?

But she’s skirting towards mod kill so not worth my energy until she comes back.
The last couple times I’ve played with village mkg she has been very obvious to me pretty early. Didn’t get any of those vibes this time.

I was hardly exaggerating; it was a lean scum on 2 posts, I'm not out here death tunneling or anything.

Comparing Santy's entrance to Zenges' (and Dubz' after), it just seemed a bit worse. Neither of them felt the need to immediately explain their (in)activity; Santy doing that at all felt overexplained, regardless of length. But I acknowledged while making the initial read that it could be NAI, so I didn't really walk anywhere to walk back from.

Wait i assumed that lean scum was a joke, was it actually a serious read? Cause the posts prior to that I felt like didn't give enough to warrant any scum read unless there was some prior meta involved.

IDK, Shinichi (2) vs Clem (19) feels like a big difference to me. Shinichi just feels like pure rand (75% chance to be town), and even if he does flip scum, it doesn't tell us that much vs. anyone else.

a scum flip is better regardless of the info it may provide. This is quite a weird explanation.

I agree its a come out but it will happen regardless, each person has their own view of inactive and how it relates to someones alignment. I normally avoid inactive yeets unless they said something really telling prior to the inactivity.
