I have been trying to locate a scale that shows on average how many questions one can miss in order to score a 10 on each section for example. I have seen one in this forum and I can't find it again. I need the (1-15) standardized scores v. the ranges of right and wrong answers so that I can get a picture. I am new to the forum and trying to get info. Hope this makes sense. Thanks,

Go to the AAMC site e-mcat.com, sign in (or register for free if you haven't yet- you'll want to for the AAMC practice MCATs anyways), and click on "how is the MCAT scored?" on the left. It has scaled tables for all of their practice tests, with the info you want.

I could have put it here, but it would be too much copying and pasting for my liking, and its free info. I'd say compile it and take an average (perhaps leaning towards test 8) to get an accurate estimate of the # wrong to get a 10.
