mcat w/o orgo?

would it be a smart idea to take the mcat without any orgo yet? and only physics 1? or is it better to just wait it out and take it once i take all the prereqs? OR would studying prep work for 1 year be good enough?

No. Take your pre-reqs, then start studying for the MCAT. You're going to have to finish them anyway.

I should stop this habit of laching on to other threads....but similar question..


I am taking orgo II this semester. Would it be a good idea to not study for Orgo at all as part of my MCAT prep but do well in my Orgo II course???

I plan to only review orgo if it comes across in FLs and otherwise, not spending any time on it. Ofcourse, I will do well in my Orgo course as a way of studying for MCAT.


MCAT is April 18 and my semester ends April 24, so I will have a good handle over all required orgo.

I would wait until you have done all the pre-reqs. Remember that this test is curved, and if you don't have the pre-reqs you will be at a disadvantage to all those writing with the pre-reqs and above.
