Yes, yes, wait until the Worcester students get to this forum...here we are!!! (Well, ok, here
I am).
After a long couple weeks of exams I am finally able to surf SDN a bit while waiting for my pumpkin pie to bake. And what do I find? No surprise...MCPHS-bashing. This phrase should be put into the dictionary, because it seems like there are ridiculous amounts of people out there everywhere who bash the heck out of this school. I have no idea why.
Thank goodness a hundred times over that I didn't listen to these people and that I applied and got in. And yes, correspondence was via email for the admissions process. Do you know how many applications they're sifting through right now? And with the holidays coming up? Have patience and respect...and for goodness sake, use real grammar and punctuation. I know you can, you're applying to professional school. Act like it.
The professors are amazing and helpful. There are student councilors, academic support, fellow students who feel like a team...what more could you want? I'm doing fine. In fact, I'm doing really really well. Now, granted, I'm a first year just finishing up the first semester, so I haven't gotten to the crazy hard stuff yet, but this isn't easy either. I study at least 10+ hours for each exam (not each day...I split it up) and don't go out drinking with my buddies. I find time to watch plenty of TV and relax because I manage my time well. As long as you're willing to hunker down and study and put yourself really into it, then you'll do amazing here. The professors are unhelpful ONLY if you give them attitude or don't care. Would you help a student talking smack about you to your face? No. They help me because I respect them and want to be helped. They help me in person or through email, whichever
I prefer.
It's only a bad school if you expect everything to be handed to you on a silver platter. Wake up and smell the professional school. They tell you the expectations the first days of orientation and they haven't deviated yet.
If anyone wants any details about the Worcester program, feel free to message me. I might take a wee bit to get back to you because finals are coming up, but I'll be more than happy to help out.

to everyone!!
