And here I thought my high school's mascot (the Lumberjacks) was ridiculous. The Staypuft Marshmen definitely take the cake in this one.

Speaking of MST3K, have you guys ever seen the Puma Man episode? I really want to see it again so I can go as Puma Man for Halloween sometime.

Hey!!!! Don't be making fun of the Malpractice and Black Bag Ball!!!!! I was the one selling the tickets and I (w/ 2 other people) organize the Black bag ball.

So needless to say, I was there on Friday. I do NOT dance...and I did not go with a date. Probably 50% or more did not have dates. I had a good time. Malpractice ball is what you make it. Either everyone sticks to their own social circles or you introduce yourself to some people. Chatted with a bunch of dental and law students. Even had a few rounds of flip cup going on - which is kinda odd looking when everyone's in suits and dresses. Even conived a law student and his friend to buy me a couple drinks at the bar afterwards. Good times. Was very tired for the path review the next morning. All in good fun. And after the test, I can honestly say that I probably would not have done better if I would've stayed home at studied that night instead.

And Black bag ball is going to be AWESOME!!!!!! Cuz I said so. Most likely at the newly renovated Wyndham (we're working out a contract right now). A little dressier than Malpractice (well for the girls). Like prom, but not as cheesy. Yummy sit down catered meal is the best part.



Marc, I was at my high school's homecoming game last week. They lost. 🙁 We were pretty decent at football in the 90's, but it's been downhill every since. I was there cuz my brother, who's a freshmen at Madison, needed a ride home. He was the homecoming king last year and had to give up his crown. My mom tried to get me to go to the coronation after the game. I politely declined.

At least our mascot is the Blackhawk. For now. Until the protests pick up. Actually we've avoided most of that. And 2 other schools in our conference have indian names as well.
 
DoctorFunk, you wrecked the thread! There's no puma man! There's only a ginormous blank area where there's supposed to be a picture. Marc's gonna sic Mr. Whipple after you!

Ok, Mr. Whipple's back in the grocery store now.

i have no idea what you just did, but I'm glad you fixed it. Puma Man is up there with my late series favorites.

Like jr. prom dress + converse all stars... that's what I wore last year. Both items from high school... yeah, baby! This year, I actually bought a new dress, but it still matched my all stars.
 
I can only attend the Black Bag Ball if someone can assure me that in the end all of us guys lose our tuxes/suits, and end up wearing only wifebeaters with our date's garters strapped on our arms. That's a real formal.
 
i wish they had an event where I could wear a dress 🙁

I've actually bought my dress already. Saw one I liked and have had bbb on the brain for the last month. It's backordered til November!!! What's up with that. Just a simple knee-length stapless number.

I got mine in September... at the outlets by chicago from BCBG. Blue -- like my jr prom dress, which is why it still matches my all stars. 😉 Mine's a halter top though.

Pleasant Prairie right before IL -- it's my friend. I buy my clinic clothes at Brooks Brothers, stuff at J Crew, and sometimes they have ok stuff on sale at the Ann Taylor. I like the Polo Ralph Lauren, but it's too expensive. Then it has all the fun kitchen stores!

It is in January though, so are you gonna make sure to shave your legs?

Mine's a royal blue btw... I can't find a picture of it, since it's an older season.

Yup, same color. Assuming it fits that is. Ordered 2 different sizes to try on.

I should check out those outlets. I've heard good things from LOTS of people. It's just that Mayfair is, well, just down the street.


Careful with those "modifications" there Marc. Don't go too overboard.
 
I feel like I need to go out and buy myself a tux *right now*. (And it's not just an urge to avoid studying, I promise).

girl, they're ALWAYS shaved. you just never know when you'll have to look GOOD.

Hhhhmmm...I think with the plunging neckline you may want to go with a longer dress. Perhaps mid-calf. You don't wanna just give it away. Or do you?
