if thats the crowd, count me in. do the men come in a similar condition?

They look a little more like this:

How many Wisconsin units you think Fat Bastard registers? I think four, tops.

(I have, in presentations, referred to patient(s) as "Wisconsin svelte".)

I guess I will be considered anorexic in Wisconsin. Will I be able to find any clothes?!?

nice website thanks for the info.

Do a lot of students live in the washington heights area?

One of my friends does, in an old double with pretty architectural details. Not a super-nice neighborhood, but not ghetto, either.

yaaaay financial aid... actually depressing... yaay debt! 🙂

wait until the end of 3rd year when you get the last financial aid statement, which says how much you can take out, but also nicely points out at the bottom your total debt thus fair...yikes.

As usual I have a random question. Anyone know of what to do with unused contact lenses? Throwing them away seems like such a waste.

How many sets of scrubs did you guys kill in anatomy lab?

Lots of people had one set and nothing bad happened to them. I just used old clothes. I hadn't thought about this before cleaning out my closet prior to moving, so I ended up just buying a bunch of crap at rummage sales. That way I had several sets of anatomy clothes and I could wash them often so they never got TOO nasty. Pockets are handy.

I had about 8 pair that i had used in a previous job. I never wore any more than once in a row; the preservative never stained them, and they don't smell, so my locker never smelled. I took what I had worn home once a week to wash them.

I don't recommend going out and buying 8 pair though.

I had one pair that I washed once sometime around the middle of the semester. They were pretty stankariffic by the end, but I figured why would I want to smell up another pair of clothes when I had already ruined one. The main thing is to wear a pair of shoes that you don't mind throwing away at the end of the semester - mine got way dirtier than the scrubs.

Really? My crocs stayed fine basically like new. I wore them on OB/gyn until I decided they hurt my feet too much after overnight call.

My feet always wound up somehow getting sloshed or getting bits fat stuck on them. Of course, they were tennis shoes so the uppers absorbed everything unlike your Crocs. I don't even think I knew what Crocs were back then.

Crocs were way popular on Maui as beach shoes; there was a kiosk that sold them at the mall... that's how I knew about them. My brothers thought they were great because one can boil them down and eat them if it were necessary, and they can be washed in a dishwasher.

Personally, I still don't like them, except for anatomy.

I wore one pair of scrub pants and the free MCW t-shirt they give you at the interview. I think I washed them about once per week. Not sure where the t-shirt is now. It was XL and wouldn't never worn it again anyway. It might've gone with a Goodwill stack one day. The pants don't stink and I still have them in my closet.

I had $10 tennis shoes from Walmart that were ugly as sin and went in the garbage afterwards.

I just wanted to say ...i hate you all. I am on call at childrens ( blue team woop woop) and scrolled through the above pics and the nurses looked at me like I am weird...more so than usual

I didn't do it.

My test is tomorrow. The nurses will forgive you. Soon all our lives will be better.

I called the financial aid office on Monday since I haven't received mine either, and they said that they're currently running behind. They should have them all through by the third week of June.
