I did REALLY badly on my Step 1: got a 206 even though my practices were all WAY above this. I totally freaked out when I took it. Now I can't retake this test because I passed it the first time around, but would I be eligible to take the COMLEX I?

i'll let Dr. Cox handle this one

(really though, i'm pretty sure you have to be a DO student to sit for it...not to mention you don't know any OMM which is a nice sized chunk of the test...sorry about your score not being where you wanted it, g/l)

If you're still interested in pediatrics, as a US MD, you'll be able to match somewhere. It might not be CHOP, but you'll be ok.

As an MD student taking a board exam not required by the residency programs you're eligible for, you may get more bang for your buck taking the LSAT.
