Yep! Not web 2.0 enough.
The old site does a few things better than the new site (as some people were saying, putting it all on one ugly page like pre-dents).
The new site has a lot more neat tricks that, hopefully, make it a more valuable tool for connecting applicants.
The community that appears on the front page is sort of confusing. Part of me feels like it's a feed from
a forum, but as I am reading the actual content "XXX was accepted by Dartmouth College", it's more of
status-esque facebook feed. Might I suggest renaming it to something that describes it a bit better?
Under search profiles and schools, it's merely cosmetic, but it looks like the bg isn't
loading for that container. All I see is a top and bottom image.
(

Float that "Register Now" button along with the meta data below it to the right on the
attention-grabber.
- I'd also suggest having 5 different medical-oriented images much like that female
doctor randomize. Gives it the feel like there is constant activity, even when there isn't.
Well, sir. It certainly is an improvement. I like it. Kudos!
How long has it taken you to develop this? I was going to develop a medical site (different concept, however),
but I can't seem to get time to really start diving into PHP more. I'm currently coding a bunch of C++
apps -- blah.
