I was wondering what was up with that. Thanks for letting us know!

Also, I'm glad to see a beta for "matchapplicants" in your siggy. I was just thinking the other day I wish they had a resident application site similar to MDApps.

nice. i just posted a thread about it right before I found this one because I had a hard time finding this one. and now i don't know how to delete my thread.

Gahh ATT - Stop messing things up
ha. the worst two phone carriers are merging, I don't see things improving...

AT&T should have taken that 36 million and fixed their ****ty towers rather than acquire a bunch more ****ty towers.

Would love to see a full version of this by the time I need it. Totally adding this to my bookmark bar.

Honest question: What is the purpose of MDapps? I mean its interesting to look at schools to see examples of applicants who've made it in, but other than comparing yourself to others, are there any other concrete uses for it?

I ask because I'm thinking about making a profile here in a month or two when I apply.

it's just more information. if you're planning on applying only to schoolX and after searching you realize they almost all have 38s and 4.0s you might think about adding some other schools. you can see what kind of activities very successful candidates have been involved in. you can find people with lower stats accepted to schools with higher averages and see what else they had going for them. you can find people with scholarship money and see what kinda apps they had. it's a lot of interesting info but if you try to make any hard and fast rules with it as you go you'll probably drive yourself crazy.

Gunners say: It's a great place for organizing all of your application/primary/secondary information in one place and keeping track of due dates/submissions/etc. Basically a clearinghouse of your app info.

Non-Gunners say: It's a great place for gunners to beat their chests like a silverback.

Personally, I like keeping my SDN-self well isolated from my real-world self. Pretty easy to put 1 and 2 together using the info normally posted there.
